JAKARTA, NNC – The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) ended rising 37 points (+0.6 percent) to 6,226 in first session trading closed on Monday (4/2/2018). A total of 217 shares rose in price, 140 stocks fell and 102 other shares stagnated.
Throughout the session, JCI was moving in the range of 6,168.3 to 6,235.1. Trading volume reached 4.22 billion shares with frequency amounting to 218,033 times and transaction value of IDR2.98 trillion. Foreign investors recorded a net selling of IDR17.09 billion in the regular market.
A total of seven out of 10 sectoral indices of stocks recorded gains led by miscellaneous industry sector with 1.75 percent, and the consumer sector which rose 1.53 percent. The agribusiness sector posted the deepest decline by 1.06 percent.
Among Top Gainers were Jaya Trishindo (HELI)’s shares which gained 24.8 percent to IDR392 per share, followed by Sky Energy Indonesia (JSKY)’s up 24.6 percent to IDR935 per share, and Pikko Land Development (RODA)’s rising 24.5 percent to IDR436 per share.
Meanwhile, stocks which were Top Losers include Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia (RELI)’s shares which were down 22 percent to IDR234 per share, followed by Pudjiadi and Sons (PNSE)’s dipping 20.2 percent to IDR710 per share, and Panasia Indo Resources (HDTX)’s which fell 16.8 percent to IDR306 per share.
