Why Abu Dhabi is packed with Bollywood stars right now

Think Salman Khan and supercars.

We’re never short of a celeb or two here in the UAE. When you’ve got Priyanka Chopra in Charlize Theron speaking at one event, while half of Bollywood is also in town to film, you know you’re living in a bit of a hotspot.

Superstar Salman Khan’s next film, called Race 3, is in production in Abu Dhabi right now, The National reports. From the looks of things, the cast and crew are having a ball.

Khan’s costar, Jacqueline Fernandez, popped into the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque with some friends.

It’s an absolute must-do while in the capital, we’re sure you’ll agree.

Fernandez was joined by one of those same buddies for a trip to the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Here they are contemplating one of Dutch post-impressionist master Vincent Van Gogh.

And thanks to one of Khan’s ever-vigilant fan pages, we know he and his costars found time to attend a wedding while in Abu Dhabi.

The National pegs that interior as Etihad Towers.

What can we expect from the movie itself? Well, going from the Twitter feed of Pure Cars Automotive, some serious motor vehicles.

They’re supplying some of Race 3’s wheels.

And at least one helicopter.

Doesn’t look like Race 3 will be short on action, then, or on star power. Khan and Fernandez are joined by Anil Kapoor and Daisy Shah.

Enjoy the rest of your time here, mates.
